Help Little League Help New York Life Pitch In

New York Life is proud to partner with Pitch In For Baseball®, a non-profit
organization that collects new and gently used baseball and softball
equipment. Pitch In For Baseball (PIFB) redistributes equipment to
communities and organizations in need both here in the United States and
around the world.

*This year New York Life needs your help in collecting gently* *used
baseball or softball gloves*.

Remember last year's baseball mitt that doesn't fit anymore? Dig it out of
the garage or basement and drop it off at your local New York Life Office.
Tell your friends, neighbors and family members to do the same.

Equipment previously collected by PIFB went to kids whose families and
communities were hit by the tornado in Joplin, Missouri in May. This was
just one of over 100 recipient communities Pitch In For Baseball assisted in
2011. With the help of New York Life and Little League Baseball and Softball
, Pitch In For Baseball will be there to help kids in other communities
where ever there is a need.

'It’s Fall! It’s colorful! It’s beautiful! The air is fresh and crisp. And it’s time to pick up fallen leaves in that crisp (a.k.a. cold) air. So get those gloves on! As beautiful as the colored leaves may be, we all know wet leaves stain – and believe it or not, it sometimes rains in western NY in Autumn! And you don’t want your hands stained from picking up those cold, crisp, icky, wet leaves do you? You wouldn’t pick up those leaves naked would you? (If you would, we really don’t want to know!) Why leave your hands naked? Protect your hands! Protect your paws! And protect your loved ones! Wear your gloves!'

'A true sign of autumn? Not the beautiful display of color or the crisp
air, no it is the arrival of the annual glove notice.'
